Scott's commentary:

Like the other Sony Music Special Products, this was recorded directly from the soundtrack of the film, with the exception of "Way Out West" which is an outtake. The sound quality on this is much better than most of the Sony releases like their "Easter Parade" and "The Wizard Of Oz." The sound is on the same par as their release of "The Pirate" soundtrack. Although several of the songs have been released in their "un-cut" form by Rhino records on various compilations, this one is worth the price for the "Slaughter On 10th Avenue."
