40 years ago, Judy Garland began work on her most important project: A weekly musical-variety TV series, which today serves as the finest video record of her as the world's greatest entertainer. Now, two of the best episodes from the series' 1963-64 television series are appearing for the first time on DVD.
All of the shows are beautifully restored. The picture is perfect, and the sound is wonderful. The extras are all interesting and fun. This set is fantastic. I only have one complaint: the distribution of the episodes among the various DVDs and box set collections is quite confusing. So I have made up a little chart here that may help.
