Film Review: Our Mother's House

Our Mother's House

(MGM / Filmways, UK, 1967)

Was Judy originally cast in the film "Our Mother's House" (presumably as "Mother")? It's nice to think so - this film was a good production. The somewhat confusing photo to the right seems to suggest the possibility. However, I don't recall ever hearing or reading about Judy being selected to play in the film. Dirk Bogarde, as you recall, played opposite Judy in I Could Go On Singing (1963). Mark Lester played the title role in the 1968 smash hit, Oliver!. This film was produced in 1967, sans Judy.

This appears to be an original 1967 photo.
Why did they use a photo of Judy from the 1940s?
